Alexis Bridges, a native of Detroit, Michigan is the founder and executive director of C E Mitchell Services Foundation Inc. Her mission is to empower youth through academics, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. She has over 18 years of experience in education working with school systems throughout Alabama and Georgia. She has held various positions within education as a schoolteacher, school counselor, and academic advisor.
She has also privately tutored over 1,000 students since 1997 with a proven ability to engage students as well as lead teachers to successfully implement effective instructional strategies. She is a trusted leader and consultant with high expectations to achieve outstanding results.
She holds a BS in Elementary Education, MS in Guidance & Counseling from Alabama A&M University and still maintains certification in Georgia and Alabama as an early childhood teacher and PK-12 school counselor. Outside of work, she volunteers her time across several organizations and is a national member of the American Business Women’s Association.
C E Mitchell Services Foundation was created to provide tutoring scholarships for students in underserved communities, prepare students for SAT & ACT test prep and teach financial literacy.
